Young “Room” star Jacob Tremblay has joined the cast of Shane Black’s “The Predator” reboot at 20th Century Fox.
Tremblay will play the son of Boyd Holbrook’s character, an ex-Marine who discovers the existence of fierce aliens but finds that no one believes they exist.
Holbrook is heading a cast that so far includes Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes and Olivia Munn while Thomas Jane is in negotiations to join the cast.
Black co-wrote the script with Fred Dekker. Filming is slated to kick off in Vancouver in February.
