Multiple Disney Shows & Films Head To Netflix

Disney+

Disney Entertainment and Netflix have reportedly made an “expansive” new content licensing agreement.

The result of this new agreement means a mix of Disney’s library titles and current-season TV shows will be coming to Netflix and its 325 million user base for certain periods of time.

In fact, the first title on the list will be the first two seasons of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” which will run on the service for three months starting this Sunday, October 4th. The two seasons will help promote the upcoming third season, launching exclusively on Disney+ on November 20th.

Same with the “Ice Age” franchise. All five existing “Ice Age” films will also arrive on Sunday for a three-month promotional window ahead of the sixth installment, “Ice Age: Boiling Point,” opening in cinemas on February 5th 2027.

Also making its way to the service are a number of network series including the first four seasons of “Will Trent” from December 1st, the first two seasons of “Shifting Gears” in early 2027, and the first three seasons of “Tracker” from late February (but only outside the United States).

Library film and TV titles will also be hopping onto Netflix including Pixar and Disney Animation titles like “Soul,” “Elio” and “Raya and the Last Dragon” as well as shows like “Felicity,” “Revenge,” “This Is Us,” “Army Wives” and “Fresh Off the Boat”.
