Comedy Central has premiered the full trailer for its half-hour adult animated adventure-comedy series “Digman!,” which hails from “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” alums Andy Samberg and Neil Campbell who co-created the show and will serve as writers and producers.
The story unfolds in a world where archaeologists are massive celebrities and the coolest people on the planet, with Samberg voicing protagonist Rip Digman who seems to be a satire of the Indiana Jones/Nathan Drake/Lara Croft style character. Here he starts out a washed-up has been with his best days behind him, until new adventure comes calling.
The show’s impressive guest cast includes Maya Rudolph, Daniel Radcliffe, Jane Lynch, Clancy Brown, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Harvey Guillen, Joe Lo Truglio, Kyle Mooney, Cole Escola, Lauren Lapkus and filmmaker Edgar Wright among others who will lend their voices to the series.
Paul Rust, Marc Evan Jackson, Claudia O’Doherty, Kerri Kenney, Rachel Kaly, Andy Daly, Lennon Parham and Carl Tart are also guesting on the show alongside main cast members Samberg, Mitra Jouhari, Tim Robinson, Dale Soules, Guz Khan, Melissa Fumero and Tim Meadows.
CBS Studios produces the series alongside Ali Bell, Titmouse, and The Lonely Island’s Party Over Here. Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina executive produce.
Campbell serves as showrunner on “Digman!” which is set to premiere on March 22nd.
