Lionsgate Movies has premiered the trailer for Tiller Russell’s “Silk Road,” the crime thriller about the infamous drug-selling darknet site.
Nick Robinson stars as Ross Ulbricht, the idealistic young man who creates the internet’s first unregulated marketplace: Silk Road.
When it becomes a multimillion-dollar pipeline for illicit drugs, Ross is set on a collision course with dangerously unpredictable DEA agent Rick Bowden (Jason Clarke) who will use any means necessary to take him down.
Alexandra Shipp, Jimmi Simpson, Paul Walter-Hauser, Katie Aselton, Lexi Rabe and Daniel David Stewart co-star in the film which will arrive in select theaters and on VOD on February 19th.
