Stallone Open To A Sixth “Rambo”?

First Trailer Stallone In Rambo Last Blood

Turns out ‘Last Blood’ may not be the end for Sylvester Stallone’s John Rambo character.

Several weeks ago, the actor conducted a Q&A session at the Cannes Film Festival and JoBlo has since discovered him suggesting during it that he’s open to more movies in the long-running franchise.

The 71-year-old Stallone indicates should audiences be keen on this Fall’s “Rambo: Last Blood” and want more, he’ll likely oblige:

“Let me just say something about the ‘last’ of anything. I thought Rocky 3 was the last, you know. So I don’t know anything. If it works I’ll just keep going, you know, because I enjoy it so much.”

The latest chapter finds Rambo coping with intense PTSD while living on a ranch in Arizona, trying to pick up casual work wherever he can. Soon he travels south of the border to find the ranch owner’s daughter who has been kidnapped by a sex-trafficking ring.

Adrian Grunberg with Matt Cirulnick are writing the screenplay. Ariel Vroman helms the film which opens in cinemas September 20th.
