A couple of key TV promos today, starting with the ice skating drama series “Spinning Out” starring “Maze Runner” and “Crawl” alum Kaya Scodelario.
The actress plays a competitive figure skater striving for greatness on the ice while fighting against her own fears and demons. The ten episode series is created by former competitive figure skater Samantha Statton.
January Jones, Evan Roderick, Sarah Wight Olsen and Will Kemp co-star in the series which premieres New Year’s Day.
Next, HBO has dropped the full official trailer for the tenth season of Larry David’s improvised, single-camera comedy “Curb Your Enthusiasm” which returns January 19th. Susie Essman, Jeff Garlin, Cheryl Hines, Richard Lewis and JB Smoove co-star.
Next, Netflix has released the first teaser for the third volume of their adult animated series “Disenchantment” as Princess Bean, Elfo and Lucy meet Bean’s biological mother former Queen Dagmar. The series is scheduled to make its return sometime next year.
TBS released the first trailer for “Miracle Workers: Dark Ages,” the second season its comedy series starring Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Karan Soni, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Peter Serafinowicz. The new season premieres January 28th 2020.
Hulu has released a sneak peek at the upcoming third and final season of teen superhero series “Marvel’s Runaways” as Xavin and the team frantically search for their captured friends and try to figure out who is the enemy among them. The third season is set to premiere on December 13th.
Finally, BBC America has released a clip from the season premiere of “Doctor Who,” the clip showing Lenny Henry’s transportation mogul character being interviewed by Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Ryan (Tosin Cole) posing as journalists to get a DNA scan of the man. The new season hits BBC One and BBC America on January 1st.
