Heated Rivalry
Jacob Tierney, the creator and showrunner of Crave and HBO Max’s massively successful gay hockey player series “Heated Rivalry,” has offered a second season update confirming that filming has gotten underway

Ascent
Viola Davis is set to star as an elite corporate fixer named Catriona Vail in the Paramount+ thriller series “Ascent”. John Logan (“Skyfall”) created the series and will serve as executive producer and showrunner on the series which will begin production in Los Angeles in 2027.

The story is set in the dangerous world of global corporate crisis and damage control. Vail must weaponize the ruthless skills that have made her indispensable to billion-dollar clients when her estranged daughter is in danger. [Source: Variety]

Hercule
James D’Arcy, Henry Ashton, Phil Dunning, Calvin Demba, Jack Gleeson, Tamsin Greig, James Nesbitt, Guy Remmers, Rebecca Rittenhouse and Mawaan Rizwan have all joined the new Agatha Christie series adaptation “Hercule” at BritBox & BBC.

Edward Bluemel will play the legendary Belgian detective in the six-part adaptation, which will chronicle how Poirot became the world’s greatest detective. Filming begins soon in Liverpool and Benji Walters (“Obsession”) will adapt three of Christie’s early stories. [Source: Televisual]

The Walking Dead
Trailmark Games has released a trailer for “The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival,” a single-player side-scrolling beat-’em-up game releasing September 18th on all platforms. The game sees Rick Grimes, Michonne, and Daryl Dixon battle through a reimagined version of the “All Out War” storyline.

The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project
Hulu has released the first trailer for the reality series for “The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project,” a show about Khloé Kardashian’s closest friends.

The series will premiere with all six episodes at once on August 21 through Hulu and the Disney+ service. The series follows Khloe’s closest friends as they navigate the highs and lows of motherhood, marriage, dating, business, and life in the spotlight.
