Eight years after the first teaser premiered back in 2018, a new video is out for the next “Elder Scrolls” game confirming the recently revealed title “The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel”.
The clip was expected next month to mark the 15th anniversary of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” but after the title was revealed the other day, it looks like it has gone early.
Bethesda Game Studios has indicated the game will be set in Hammerfell, a region where the largest city is named Sentinel and the first return to that city in over 30 years.
The game is expected to focus on the history of the Elder Scrolls – something that hasn’t really been covered before. It also includes a quote from a time period five years after the events of ‘Skyrim’.
Bethesda has been hard at work on the title ever since wrapping up “Starfield” in 2023 but for now there’s zero indication of when or how the game will be released.
A 2028 release would seem to be the earliest possibility, which means the title will be ready in time for the next generation of console.
