“Assassin’s Creed” and “Macbeth” director Justin Kurzel has signed up to direct the WW2 gritty revenge thriller “Ruin” which multiple studios are reportedly bidding on.
Matt and Ryan Firpo’s spec script follows a nameless ex-Nazi captain who, seeking atonement for his crimes, hunts down the surviving members of his former SS Death Squad amidst the ruins of post-WWII Germany.
The Firpos have written and directed numerous short films. UTA and LBI Entertainment are currently taking bids with a studio expected to become involved imminently.
