Following the leaking of the title, cover art and details of the game yesterday, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has done the right thing and now officially announced “Middle-earth: Shadow of War,” a sequel to the critically acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
They’ve also announced a released date and premiered a first trailer for the open-world action-adventure game below. In the title, you join Talion and Celebrimbor who must go behind enemy lines to forge an army and turn all of Mordor against Sauron.
The award-winning Nemesis System of the first game with its robust personalization is now applied to the entire world of the second game. As a result, the environments and characters are all shaped by player actions and decisions which create a personal world unique to every gameplay experience.
“Middle-earth: Shadow of War” will be available for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 beginning August 22nd 2017.
