A sequel to the 2008 surprise horror hit “The Strangers” is headed into production reports Variety.
The original centered on a couple terrorized by masked assailants at their remote summer house. The story details of the sequel are being kept top secret, but the original’s writer/director Bryan Bertino penned the script.
French helmer Laurent Briet will direct while Ryan Kavanaugh, Nathan Kahane, Roy Lee and Doug Davison will produce. Filming kicks off this Fall.
