It’s official: Quentin Tarantino’s acclaimed 2019 film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” is returning to cinemas, this time exclusively in IMAX.
The re-release is set to take place on October 30th and comes ahead of the David Fincher-directed spin-off feature “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth” hitting cinemas on November 25th.
Leonardo DiCaprio plays Rick Dalton, a TV star struggling to maintain his career, while Brad Pitt stars as his longtime stunt double named Cliff Booth. The two navigate a rapidly changing Hollywood while Rick lives next door to rising star Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie).
Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Margaret Qualley, Timothy Olyphant, Bruce Dern, Damian Lewis, Mike Moh, Luke Perry, Austin Butler, and Emile Hirsch co-star.
Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, the film was a commercial success – grossing more than $378 million worldwide on a $90 million production budget – and landed ten Oscar nominations, with Pitt winning the Best Supporting Actor Oscar.
Tarantino, David Heyman and Shannon McIntosh produced with Tarantino also penning the Fincher film.
