Nicolas Cage is in early talks to play the gangster villain in “The Green Hornet” for Sony Pictures says Variety.
Cameron Diaz is negotiating to play a reporter and love interest in the Michel Gondry-directed pic which stars Seth Rogen as the masked crime fighter. A replacement for Stephen Chow as his sidekick Kato is currently being sought.
Rogen and Evan Goldberg wrote the script and Neal Moritz is producing. Filming kicks off this Fall.
