Rapper/actor Common (“Terminator Salvation”) has been cast in the main male lead role in the Queen Latifah sports-themed romantic comedy “Just Wright” reports Variety.
Michael Elliot’s script revolves around a sports trainer who finds herself falling in love with a professional basketball player while rehabilitating him from a career-threatening injury.
Paula Patton also stars while Latifah, Shakim Compere and Debra Martin Chase are producing.
Sanaa Hamri helms the project which begins filming mid-July in New York City.
