Brian Koppelman and David Levien (“Ocean’s Thirteen,” “The Girlfriend Experience”) will adapt Josh Bazell’s novel “Beat the Reaper” for New Regency reports Variety.
The drama, being developed as a potential star vehicle for Leonardo DiCaprio, revolves around a Manhattan ER doctor whose life becomes complicated when a mobster recognizes him from his former life as a hitman.
DiCaprio, Julie Yorn, Aaron Criswell and Jennifer Davisson Killoran are producing.
