Javier Bardem is in negotiations to voice the villain role in “Despicable Me 2” at Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment says Heat Vision.
In the first Steve Carell played a villainous mastermind who hires a trio of orphans for an evil scheme, but ultimately they melt his icy heart. The new one calls for a new villain named El Macho who has a son of his own.
This would make Bardem’s first animated feature with the film currently scheduled for July 3rd 2013.
