Production is continuing apace on Marvel and Netflix’s “Luke Cage” TV series with some new set photos going online and confirming the presence of another villain on the show – Willis Stryker, aka Diamondback. Set photos demonstrate a fight between Mike Coulter’s title character and Diamondback (Erik LaRay Harvey).
In the comics he’s a childhood friend of Luke’s who frames Cage for a drug charge when they’re young, which results in Luke being sent to prison. After a sabotaged experiment leaves Cage with super strength and unbreakable skin, he becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem. The series will premiere everywhere that Netflix is available on September 30th.
