Tom Holland, Thomas Vinterberg Set A Film

Sony Pictures

Danish filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg is teaming with “Spider-Man” star Tom Holland for a new feature film.

The project would mark “The Hunt” and “The Celebration” director’s first film since 2020’s highly acclaimed, Mads Mikkelsen-led, alcohol-fuelled dark comedy “Another Round,” which won the Oscar for Best International Feature Film among many other awards.

In an interview with Kino DK (via Tom Holland Brazil) this week while promoting “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” in Amsterdam, Holland revealed he and Vinterberg are collaborating on a film:

“I love Thomas Vinterberg. We’re working on another project together and it’s very exciting […] So, I’m really excited to be able to work with him on a long-format project. I can’t share what it is yet, too soon.”

Vinterberg and Holland previously collaborated on a Prada commercial back in 2025 so this doesn’t come out of nowhere.

30-year-old Holland has “The Odyssey” and the new Spidey coming out, will very likely have a role in “Avengers: Secret Wars” filming this year, and next yesr is expected to shoot Paul King’s Fred Astaire biopic and Jason Bateman’s John Grisham adaptation “The Partner”.

Vinterberg recently directed an upcoming Netflix biopic series on the Kennedy dynasty with that expected to arrive in 2027.
