Netflix has finally unveiled the full trailer for the David Fincher-directed and Quentin Tarantino-penned “The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth”.
The trailer arrived after a surprise Super Bowl teaser back in January and a very brief title announcement clip last month.
Set in 1977, eight years after the events of Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” the film finds Cliff (Brad Pitt) – former stuntman and body double to TV actor Rick Dalton – no longer working primarily as a stuntman and driver.
Instead, he’s now a Hollywood studio fixer who provides off-the-books services that fit his particular skill set. Tarantino originally wrote the script for himself to direct, but eventually put it aside before Pitt convinced the filmmaker to let Fincher direct.
Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, Corey Fogelmanis, JB Tadena, Karren Karagulian, Barry Livingston, Lauren Glazier, Peter Weller and Timothy Olyphant co-star.
“The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth” opens exclusively in IMAX cinemas on November 25th for a two-week run before arriving on Netflix on December 23rd.
