“Call of Duty: Black Ops 7” Announced

Activision

Activision used today’s Xbox Showcase to announce the next game in the “Call of Duty” series which will be titled “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7”.

The game is set in the year 2035 and the world is on the brink of chaos, ravaged by violent conflict and psychological warfare following the events of Black Ops 2 and 6.

Wielding cutting-edge technology, the team led by David Mason must fight back against a manipulative enemy who weaponizes fear above all else.

Players can squad up with friends or play solo in a co-op campaign. Or harness near-future weaponry in a signature multiplayer experience with brand-new maps.

Players can also “descend into the next twisted chapter of Round-Based Zombies in the heart of the Dark Aether.”

Milo Ventimiglia will be starring as Mason with the character getting a makeover to look more like him.

“Sabrina” star Kiernan Shipka is also onboard as the CEO of a group known as The Guild. Michael Rooker reprises his “Black Ops 2” role of Mike Harper.

A full official reveal will take place later this Summer.
