NSYNC Reunite For Third “Trolls” Film?

DreamWorks Animation

Twenty years after splitting up, iconic 1990s boy band NSYNC look set to reunite to contribute a song to the upcoming animated sequel “Trolls Band Together”.

Citing anonymous sources, Entertainment Tonight is reporting that JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are expected to have surprise roles in the film alongside their former band member and the film’s lead male star Justin Timberlake.

In addition, their source claims the quintet will also reunite as *NSYNC to release a new song for the movie – their first song together since 2001’s “Girlfriend”.

The trailer for the film suggested a boy band reunion storyline for Timberlake’s character Branch who was once in a group together called BroZone with his brothers (played byTroye Sivan, Kid Cudi, Daveed Diggs and Eric Andre).

The story sees one brother Floyd (Sivan) kidnapped, leading John Dory (Andre) to track down Branch and reunite the group and save their brother.

Thus talk of a reunion of Timberlake’s actual boy band cohorts makes sense. ET says they reached out to Universal, but the studio has not commented on the news either way.
