Trailer: Alice Eve In “Haunting of the Queen Mary”

Vertical Releasing

Vertical Releasing has premiered the trailer for its supernatural horror mystery “Haunting of the Queen Mary” starring Alice Eve (“Star Trek Into Darkness”), Joel Fry (“Cruella”), Lenny Rush (“Dodger”), Nell Hudson (“Outlander”) and William Shockley (“Showgirls”).

Gary Shore (“Dracula Untold”) helms the film in which a couple, Erin and Patrick, board the infamous ship with their young son Lukas.

Their voyage soon comes to resemble, in mystery and violence, the experience of another family that sailed aboard the same ship in 1938 around Halloween time – a voyage that ended in a horrific slaughter.

As Erin begins to see the haunted ghosts the ocean liner holds from its dark past, she and her husband realize there’s only one way out for them – into the ship’s depths, where violent secrets are revealed.

Stephen Oliver and Tom Vaughan penned the script, with revisions by Shore. Brett Matthew Tomberlin, Thorsten Schumacher, Lars Sylvest, Nigel Sinclair, Nicholas Ferrall and Mali Elfman produce.

The real RMS Queen sailed from 1936 until 1967 and has been permanently moored in California ever since, where the ship remains a popular tourist attraction.

“Haunting of the Queen Mary” is set for an August 18th release in cinemas and on-demand.
