Hasbro has unveiled a throwback Indiana Jones action figure at its annual Hasbro Pulse Con which showcases toys and brands for franchises ranging from “Transformers” to “Star Wars” to Marvel.
With the release of the James Mangold-directed fifth “Indiana Jones” film next summer, the company breaking out the whip for the Indiana Jones brand with the announcement of the Indiana Jones Retro Collection.
The new figures are reportedly heavily inspired by a line of action figures that Kenner put out in the early 1980s and which currently sell for hundreds on eBay.
A 3.75-inch-scale Indy figure looking like the character from “Raiders of the Lost Ark” was shown off and will retail for $14.99 and hit stores and online retailers in spring 2023, just ahead of the film’s theatrical release on June 30th.
Hasbro will reportedly be putting forth more Indiana Jones products in the coming month including its high-end ‘Adventure’ six-inch figures, and a replica of the Staff of Ra.
