The first teaser trailer for Disney’s “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” TV series has arrived following its introduction at the D23 Expo.
Series stars Walter Scobell, Aryan Simhadri and Leah Sava Jeffries were on hand for the reveal of the show based on the Rick Riordan book series.
The fantastical story follows a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson who is coming to terms with his newfound supernatural powers when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt.
Now Percy must trek across America to find it and restore order to Olympus. Riordan and Jon Steinberg wrote the pilot, and James Bobin directs the series which is expected to debut in 2024.
