Vanity Fair has premiered the first official stills from “La La Land” and “First Man” director Damien Chazelle’s new feature “Babylon”.
The $110 million-budget project serves as an ode to Hollywood’s extravagant Golden Age and covers the industry’s switch from the silent era to the talkies.
Brad Pitt stars as Jack Conrad, a hard-partying ‘uber-movie star’ inspired by the likes of Clark Gable and Douglas Fairbanks.
Margot Robbie is Hollywood transplant Nellie LaRoy who suddenly finds herself in the spotlight and is inspired by the likes of Clara Bow and Jeanne Eagels.
Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, Lu Jun Li, Jean Smart, Tobey Maguire, Samara Weaving, Max Minghella, Katherine Waterston, Flea, Lukas Haas, Olivia Wilde, Spike Jonze, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne, Rory Scovel, Phoebe Tonkin and more co-star.
