Lionsgate has premiered the first trailer for the sinister action thriller “Day Drinker” which opens March 26th 2027.
“Blow,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “Murder on the Orient Express” stars Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz will re-team for a fourth time here.
Joining them are Madelyn Cline, Manu Rios, Arón Piper, Juan Diego Botto and Anika Boyle.
The story follows a private yacht bartender who meets a mysterious day drinker – only for both of them to find themselves entangled in a criminal underbelly, and connected in unexpected ways.
The trailer promises something far stranger than the synopsis lets on. Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man,” “500 Days of Summer”) directs the film which is produced by Basil Iwanyk, Adam Kolbrenner, Zach Dean and Erica Lee.
Dean (“The Tomorrow War,” “Fast X”) also penned the screenplay for the movie, which was shot last year in Tenerife and Santa Cruz.
