Gary Cole is in talks for a major role in the nineteenth season of “NCIS” on CBS. Details of his character are under wraps, but speculation has been immediately rife that the “The Good Fight” and “Mixed-ish” star is being lined up to take over from series lead Mark Harmon who will appear in the new season, but it’s not clear as to how many episodes. Goodnight Mommy
Twins Cameron and Nicholas Crovetti have been hired to play the sons of Naomi Watts’ character in the Matt Sobel-directed “Goodnight Mommy” remake at Amazon Studios. Filming just began in New Jersey.

The story follows two brothers who arrive at their mother’s country home to discover her face covered in bandages – the result of recent cosmetic surgery. As her behavior grows increasingly erratic, the boys wonder if she is their mother at all? [Source: Variety]

Transfusion
Sam Worthington is set to play a former Special Forces operative in actor-turned-director Matt Nable’s “Transfusion” which is currently shooting in Sydney. Phoebe Tonkin also stars.

The Stan original film follows Worthington’s specialist thrust into the criminal underworld to keep his only son from being taken from him. John Schwarz and Michael Schwarz produce. [Source: THR]

Expats
Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire,” “The Irishman,” “Ben-Hur”) has been cast in the upcoming Amazon series “Expats”. The story follows an international community living in Hong Kong whose lives are bound together forever after a sudden family tragedy.

Huston will play a man who has long lived in the shadow of his impressive wife Hilary. In the wake of the event, he must confront whom he has become. The series is based on Janice Y.K. Lee’s novel “The Expatriates”. [Source: Variety]
