HBO Max has released the first teaser trailer for the long in the works “Friends: The Reunion” special which is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, May 27th.
That will mark the one-year anniversary of the streamer’s launch, a service that heavily relies on “Friends” fans. The video also features a first glimpse of the beloved six stars – Jennifer Aniston Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc – on the Warner Bros. Studio back lot in Burbank.
The guest line-up for the unscripted special has also been revealed including ex-cast members like Maggie Wheeler, Tom Selleck, Reese Witherspoon, Elliot Gould, Christina Pickles, James Michael Tyler, Larry Hankin, and Thomas Lennon.
David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Kit Harington, Mindy Kaling, and Malala Yousafzai will also pop up.
The special was taped on two locations: the show’s original soundstage Stage 24 in Burbank and in front of the famous fountain seen in the show’s opening credits.
