Former “Supernatural” alum Jensen Ackles has revealed a sneak peek at his appearance as Soldier Boy in the third season of “The Boys”.
After co-starring with Jared Padalecki on “Supernatural” for fifteen years where he’s had to maintain a clean-shaven short-haired look, Ackles is decidedly more hairy and bearded than when we last saw him.
It also marks a reunion of sorts with “The Boys” showrunner Eric Kripke who created and served as showrunner on the first five seasons of “Supernatural”.
The shot sadly doesn’t show him in costume as the overly patriotic superhero character who serves as a Captain America parody. Kripke has teased that he presents something of a threat to Homelander and, unlike him, he has been around for decades of Vought history.
A release date for the third season hasn’t been set as yet.
