Untitled Murder Mystery Project
Ruth Wilson (“Luther,” “The Affair”) will join Sam Rockwell, Saoirse Ronan, David Oyelowo, and Adrien Brody on Tom George’s untitled murder mystery project for Searchlight. Production will begin imminently.

Specifics of her role are unknown. Wilson recently wrapped “True Things,” is currently working on “Oslo” for HBO and will next film the third season of “His Dark Materials”. [Source: Deadline]

Law and Order: Organised Crime
“Bones” alum Tamara Taylor has scored a lead role alongside Christopher Meloni and Dylan McDermott in NBC’s forthcoming SVU spin-off “Law & Order: Organized Crime”.

Meloni’s Elliot Stabler returns to the NYPD following a devastating personal loss and joins a high-level task force set on dismantling the city’s biggest crime syndicates. [Source: TV Line]

Peacemaker
Elizabeth Faith Ludlow (“The Walking Dead”) and Rizwan Manji (“Goliath”) have joined James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad” spin-off series “Peacemaker” at HBO Max. The pair play recurring characters Keeya and Jamil respectively in the series which is currently shooting in Vancouver.

John Cena reprises his role as the title character in the series alongside Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, and Chris Conrad in supporting roles. Steve Agee and Jennifer Holland reprise their film roles of John Economos and Emilia Harcourt respectively. [Source: Twitter]

American Dreamer
Peter Dinklage, Shirley MacLaine and Kim Quinn will star in the Ted Melfi-penned and Paul Dektor-directed indie drama “American Dreamer” which begins filming mid-March in Vancouver.

Dinklage plays a low-level, adjunct Harvard economics professor whose grand dream of homeownership is out of reach until a lonely, childless, near-death widow (MacLaine) offers him her sprawling estate for pennies. He soon learns the deal is too good to be true. [Source: Deadline]
