The series premiere of The CW’s “Walker,” a reboot of the “Walker Texas Ranger” franchise, drew a 0.4 rating and 2.43 million viewers on Thursday.
That makes the Jared Padalecki-led series the network’s most-watched Thursday primetime since 2018 and the most-watched telecast in its timeslot since 2016.
In addition, the series led into the third season of “Legacies” which reportedly grew in viewers in Live+Same Day.
Reviews for the series are very mixed, the show sitting on a 51/100 on Metacritic with the reviews all in the middle as opposed to a divided love/hate style scenario.
