A first look at what appears to be a costume test of actress Javicia Leslie suited up as Batwoman has gone online via Leslie’s own Instagram account.
The show was among the first broadcast series to resume production recently with cameras kicking off filming on September 3rd in Vancouver.
Leslie takes on the role of Ryan Wilder, the character succeeding Ruby Rose’s Kate Kane after Rose abruptly exited the role following the first season finale. Kane’s disappearance will inform the show’s second season storyline.
“Batwoman” returns to screens in January.
