Beloved actor Keanu Reeves is getting into the comic book world with the actor co-writing the twelve-issue “BRZRKR,” a comic featuring a main character that looks exactly like him.
The hyper-violent action comic follows a ‘half-mortal and half-God’ who has been wandering the earth for centuries and gets recruited by the U.S. government to go on top secret missions considered too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. He is cursed and compelled to violence…even at the sacrifice of his sanity.
Matt Kindt also co-wrote the mini-series for Boom! Studios, the same company that publishes an ongoing “Bill and Ted” comic book series. Also working on the title are artist Alessandro Vitti, color artist Bill Crabtree, letterer Clem Robins, and conceptual/cover artist Rafael Grampa.
