“The Maze Runner” and “Teen Wolf” star Dylan O’Brien is in negotiations to lead “Green Book” helmer Peter Farrelly’s next film based on Joanna Molloy and John ‘Chickie’ Donohue’s true story book “The Greatest Beer Run Ever”.
Brian Currie and Pete Jones will co-write the script with Farrelly. The story follows Donohue who left New York in 1967 to track down and share a few beers with his childhood buddies in the Army – while they were fighting in Vietnam.
O’Brien reportedly beat out a number of other high-profile actors for the sought after part. Viggo Mortensen has a supporting role in the movie which David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger and Andrew Muscato will produce.
