Two More “Sack Lunch Bunch” Specials Planned

Following massive critical success late last year on Netflix, comedian John Mulaney will deliver two more Sack Lunch Bunch comedy specials – this time for Comedy Central.

The network announced it will be the new home for the two specials, one of which will be a holiday-themed one and both of which will reunite much of Mulaney’s original cast. Whether Jake Gyllenhaal will be back as his much talked about Mr. Music character is unclear.

Mulaney was once an intern at Comedy Central at the start of his career and the pact marks his first time working with the network in a decade. The network itself has undergone a regime change in favor of animation, reboots and one-off movies and specials rather than traditional scripted fare.
