It has taken time, but a fourth film in “The Matrix” franchise is finally gearing up with Keanu Reeves returning as Neo despite his apparent death in the last film.
Speaking with ET Online about the Lana Wachowski-directed new entry in the series, Reeves was asked about the project’s status and he confirmed that not only is the script done but he’s read it.
“It’s very ambitious. As it should be” says Reeves. Carrie-Anne Moss co-stars in the film which will shoot in early 2020 for a Spring/Summer 2021 opening.
