Scribe Sheldon Turner (“Up in the Air,” “The Longest Yard”) is set to make his directorial debut on the sub-$20 million thriller “By Virtue Fall” for Voltage Pictures reports Variety.
Turner penned the “Count of Montecristo”-esque story revolves around a man framed by his mentor and imprisoned. Upon released he seeks revenge on his now wealthy former partner.
Turner says the film is “designed to showcase and challenge two great actors”, while Nicholas Chartier (“The Hurt Locker”) and Jennifer Klein will produce. Filming kicks off in September.
