Todd Phillips’ “Joker” is returning to cinemas in an unusual way – this time as a concert event with the film’s award-winning score to be performed live alongside the film.
The international event kicks off in London on April 30th with Icelandic composer Hildur Guonadottir’s score to be performed using a full orchestra. Several of the performances will be conducted by Jeff Atmajian, who served as the conductor and orchestrator of the original soundtrack.
The concert event begins at London’s Eventim Apollo in June and then goes on to tour the rest of the UK throughout the rest of the month, before expanding to European and further international locations. Those dates and venues will be announced at a later date.
