Two of the best and most acclaimed games of the past ten years are “Limbo” and “INSIDE,” two relatively short side scrolling platform/puzzle games from Danish game developer Playdead Studios. Both games notably featured stunning graphics, atmosphere and design.
Understandably there’s a lot of excitement for anything the company produces, and this weekend they’ve released a first look via Twitter at what they’re working on next – a game which appears to include a fiery wreck and a traveler dragging a parachute.
“Limbo” was released in 2010 and “INSIDE” in mid-2016 about two years after it was officially announced. This suggests this third game certainly won’t be this year, more likely around 2018 or 2019.
Thanks for your warm reception of INSIDE. Since release, Playdead founder Arnt Jensen and the team have been working on the next adventure. pic.twitter.com/RfejnH39mR
