Jason Segel (“Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” “The Muppets”) has boarded the comedy “Undercover Cop” at DreamWorks Pictures and Film Rites reports the trades.
Inspired by a true story, Segel would play a former cop that infiltrated the New Jersey criminal underworld in the 1980’s.
Jason Micallef (“Butter”) will write the script while Steven Zaillian is producing.
