Garrett Hedlund will replace Jason Clarke in “The Departed” scribe William Monaghan’s upcoming low-budget thriller “Mojave” for Atlas Independent.
Hedlund plays a suicidal artist who escapes into the desert after an existential crisis, only to encounter a “doppelganger-like” antagonist in the form of a brilliant, homicidal drifter.
Oscar Isaac also stars, while Monaghan penned and directs the project. Charles Roven will produce.
