Tina Fey will star and produce a film adaptation of Kim Barker’s memoir “The Taliban Shuffle” at Paramount Pictures. No director is presently attached.
The story recounts Barker’s years as a journalist in Afghanistan and Pakistan after arriving in the the region in 2002.
“30 Rock” scribe Robert Carlock penned the adaptation while Lorne Michaels will also produce.
