Deadpool and She-Hulk are coming to the world of “X-Men ’97” with a first look at the show’s third season revealed during a New York Comic Con panel this afternoon.
Marvel television, animation, comics and franchise chief Brad Winderbaum revealed a clip from the new run at the event, which showed off a scene at Gambit and Rogue’s wedding. Amongst the guests are Deadpool and She-Hulk.
The clip also showed off scenes in which “Where are the X-Men?” graffiti is being written as the city is in chaos and blocked off – mutants can’t get across to Professor X’s school and have no place to go unless they have letters of transit.
Another scene has Storm and Professor X talking about a conflict with the president of the United States. The series wasn’t the only thing Marvel Animation teased during the panel.
Marvel also confirmed a January 13th premiere date for the second season of “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” with artwork showing a glimpse at the character sporting the black Venom variation of the outfit.
In addition, three more “Marvel Zombies” annual specials were announced for the next three Halloweens after this one with “The Winter Soldier” in 2027, “The Fist of Khonshu” in 2028 and “The Last Guardian” in 2029.
