“Avatar: Seven Havens” Gets More Seasons

Paramount+

The first three episodes of “Avatar: Seven Havens” premiered today, but Paramount+ already has a lot of confidence in the show.

During the show’s panel at New York City Comic-Con today, series creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino have announced that the show will go beyond the two seasons already set.

Specifically, they confirmed that the streamer has already renewed the series for a third and fourth season. Previously, the series had a two-season and 26-episode pick-up; it’s effectively getting that again.

Set within Nickelodeon’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” universe, the series is unveiling its 13-episode first season over the rest of this month, with the final four episodes arriving on October 30th.

Set 225 years after the events of “The Legend of Korra,” in a world shattered by a devastating cataclysm, a young Earthbender discovers she’s the new Avatar after Korra.

In this dangerous era, that title marks her as humanity’s destroyer, not its saviour. Hunted by human and spirit enemies alike, she and her long-lost twin must uncover their mysterious origins.

Ultimately, she must save the Seven Havens before civilisation’s last strongholds collapse. The principal voice cast includes Saheli Khan as Avatar Pavi, alongside Aishu Devan, Akshay Khanna, Major Curda, Sakina Jaffrey, Darren Barnet, Dianne Doan, and Dee Bradley Baker.
