“Transparent” actress Amy Landecker has joined the cast of Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” film in a key role.
Benedict Cumberbatch plays neurosurgeon Stephen Strange, who after a horrific car accident discovers a hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
Landecker’s role is being kept quiet. Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Stuhlbarg and Tilda Swinton also star. Scott Derrickson helms from a script he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts.
Kevin Feige is producing and shooting is now underway ahead of a November 4th 2016 release.
