Rockstar Games’ November 19th 2026 release date for “Grand Theft Auto VI” is looking firmer than ever with word today that publisher Take-Two Interactive is gearing up to begin proper marketing.
Take-Two have just released their Q3 2026 earnings results in which the company reaffirms that GTA 6 is still set for its release date. In addition, they say:
“Our execution throughout Fiscal 2026 has been extraordinary and we are highly confident as we approach Fiscal 2027 – which promises to be groundbreaking for Take-Two and the entire entertainment industry – led by the November 19th release of Grand Theft Auto VI with Rockstar’s launch marketing set to begin this Summer.”
IGN also spoke with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick earlier today and when asked how he’s feeling about the release date, he says: “I feel good about it. Very good about it… any time you’re getting closer to marketing beats, you’re obviously in a place where your confidence level is as high as it can be.”
To date, only two trailers have been released – the Vice City-focused tease in late 2023, and the more character-centric trailer early last Summer. This suggests the third trailer will be coming this Summer, and hopefully some gameplay will be shown as the two so far have been cinematic ones.
The comments come as “Grand Theft Auto V” has reportedly now sold over 225 million units as of the end of December.
