Game Trailers: Divinity, Wars, MegaMan, Evil

Along with those “Tomb Raider,” “Control Resonant,” “Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic” and “007: First Light” trailers already covered, last night’s The Game Awards had a ton of other clips on offer of titles launching in 2026, 2027 or still in development.

In the wake of “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” sweeping the awards, developer Sandfall Interactive revealed the game’s DLC is out now and boasts a new dungeon, enemies and more.

Blizzard also unveiled “Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred,” a new expansion that adds a mysterious new class alongside the long-requested Paladin. The expansion releases on April 28th 2026 and will see players going up against Mephisto and Lilith.

Werner Herzog showed up to help pitch ongoing live service title “Warframe”, Milla Jovovich appeared to reveal she’s the next elusive target for “Hitman: World of Assassination,” and despite rumors neither “Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced” or “Half-Life 3” made an appearance. Star Wars: Galactic Racer
A runs-based reinvention of racing in the lawless Outer Rim. With the Empire gone and the galaxy rebuilding, The Galactic League is formed: an underground, unsanctioned circuit where syndicates bankroll chaos and champions are made. Arriving in 2026.

MegaMan: Dual Override
Mega Man returns in 2027 with a new entry in the famous action platformer series. Override challenges and blast down robots while springboarding across new frontiers. Coming in 2027.

Divinity
From the makers of “Baldur’s Gate 3,” Larian Studios offers a new RPG with greater breadth & depth than ever before. The gods are silent. Rivellon bleeds and new powers stir in this continuation of the “Divinity” franchise.

Resident Evil: Requiem
Legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy is back in the new trailer. FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft dives into pulse-pounding action with Kennedy’s help – both offering unique gameplay styles. The title launches February 27th.

Bradley the Badger
Evan Peters stars as a platforming raccoon who suddenly finds himself in different and darker game worlds where you find a device that can alter your environment – changing the scale of things, turning things into bombs, creating jump points and more.

Highguard
The creators of “Apex Legends” and “Titanfall” deliver this PvP raid shooter where players are Wardens – arcane gunslingers sent to battle for control of a mythical continent. There they’ll clash against rival crews in “an all-new breed of shooter”. The title arrives on all platforms January 26th.

Warlock
An original, third-person, single-player action-adventure game in a dark fantasy open world inspired by the “Dungeons & Dragons” universe. Developed by Invoke Studios, you play as Kaatri – a veteran warrior who makes a pact to wield otherworldly magic against dark powers.

Saros
Rahul Kohli was on hand at the ceremony to introduce gameplay from the new bullet hell title from the “Returnal” gamemakers. Beneath a haunting eclipse, players must survive Carcosa’s shifting dangers and come back stronger after every death. The title is a PS5 exclusive releasing on April 30th.

Total War: Warhammer 40,000
Experience the brutal fusion of galactic strategy and grimdark warfare in a new “Total War” game set within the “Warhammer 40,000” universe. You can take command of factions, customise your war machine, and engage in massive battles across the stars.

The Free Shepherd
Players star as a sheepdog who runs around in a beautiful and yet troubled world. Herd masses of lost sheep to a secret refuge to save them from a mystery calamity only you can stop. Releasing in 2027.

Phantom Blade Zero
Set to launch for PS5 and PC on September 9th 2026, the “Sekiro”-esque title gets a new story and gameplay trailer with a look at what is dubbed a “deep and authentic interpretation of Xia”.

Ontos
From the creators of “SOMA” comes that game’s spiritual successor, a 2026 releasing sci-fi thriller with Stellan Skarsgård lending his voice. Guided by fragments of your father’s past, you must confront disturbing revelations about the nature of reality – and your place in it.

Order of the Sinking Star
Jonathan Blow, the designer behind “The Witness” and “Braid,” delivers a massive narrative puzzle adventure featuring more than one thousand hand-crafted puzzles and an unlikely cast of heroes. Contains hundreds of hours of gameplay designed to put your intellect to the test. Launches on PC in 2026.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
As chaos looms over Gotham City, a hero must become a legend – but even legends need back-up. The brand-new open world game invites players to embark on Bruce Wayne’s journey to become Batman. The trailer shows an absolute ton of references to past Batman works across film, television, games, comics and more. It hits May 29th 2026.

Coven of the Chicken Foot
The next title from “The Last of Us” co-creator Bruce Straley. After the dungeons have been plundered and the monsters all killed, an elderly witch gets to work in an “emotionally-rich, stylised, single-player adventure”. You play as her, Gert, who will need to build a bond with a peculiar creature if she’s to fulfil a coven’s oath.

Pragmata
Capcom’s newest IP is a sci-fi action-adventure with a unique hacking twist. It is the near future, and protagonists Hugh and his android companion Diana must work together as they make their way through the cold lunar research station. The title releases on April 24th.

No Law
Neon Giant and KRAFTON team for this first-person open-world shooter RPG set in the neon-sleaze city of Port Desire. You play as Grey Harker, an ex-operative forced back into action. As you play, you shape the city arond you with your choices.

Nioh 3
The newest instalment in Team NINJA’s dark Sengoku action RPG series allows players to swap between samurai and ninja styles as they face monstrous yokai and the assorted challenges of The Crucible. Demo coming January 29th.

Ace Combat 8
Wings of Theve has fallen, but the legend lives through you. From now on, you’ll carry the title and be the greatest ace pilot this world will ever know. Releasing in 2026 – seven years after “Ace Combat 7” arrived back in 2019.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando
Master horror filmmaker John Carpenter has long been a gamer, now he’s making one. Load up your gun, Toxic Commando, and team up in a four-player squad to send the Sludge God and its undead horde back to hell. Toxic Commando launches on March 12th.

Exodus: Rise of Jun
A sci-fi action-adventure RPG from Wizards of the Coast and Archetype Entertainment, a studio founded by veterans behind “Mass Effect” and “Baldur’s Gate”. 40,000 years in the future, you are Jun Aslan – once a lowly salvager, now humanity’s last hope against the Celestials.

Gang of Dragon
The “Yakuza”-esque debut game from Nagoshi Studio, the studio formed by Toshihiro Nagoshi after he departed Ryu Ga Gotoku in 2021. Set in the streets of Shinjuku, Tokyo. Ma Dong-seok plays protagonist Shin Ji-seong in the title.

Out of Words
Kurt, Karla and a magical cast of characters navigate a crumbling world, called Vokabulantis in a handmade co-op adventure built for two.

Stupid Never Dies
Werewolves, Lizardmen, Skeletons – this is an action RPG in a world where monsters are part of everyday life. A bottom-rung zombie named Davy braves a deadly dungeon to bring back Julia, the frozen human he loved.

Decrepit
Jammerdal Games delivers this first person dungeon crawler tale in which you appear to be in a medieval prison stacked with monstrous beings all out to kill you. The title appears to only be coming to PC initially.

Orbitals
In the Switch 2 exclusive, team up as explorers Maki and Omura to brave the perils of space and save their crumbling space station home from the dangers of a supernatural cosmic storm. As you navigate uncharted areas, teamwork is vital.

Invincible Vs.
Launching on April 30th for Xbox, PC, and PS5, the fighting game boasts a roster of 18 fighters from within the Invincible Universe with the clip focusing on the all-new character Ella Mental who was created by Robert Kirkman & Cory Walker.

4Loop
From J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Games, this is a four-player co-op shooter set in an original sci-fi universe where the Earth was ‘lost’ in an invasion that has turned people into purple crystal. Your team can get resurrected over and over in your attempts to restore the world.

TankRat
A fast-paced vehicular action game in which swarms of corrupted TankRats roam a desolated land. Exploit every weakness to bring them down. The only way out is through, and the only way through is to destroy everything and scavenge what’s left.

Screamer
Five teams. Fifteen screamers, each with their own reason to fight. And one tournament ready to consume them all in this new title blending racing elements and anime cinematics.

Deadpool in Marvel Rivals
After Gambit’s attempt to steal a prized artifact from the Collector’s Museum, he and Rogue return to the scene of the crime in an attempt to escape. The Collector responds by sending Deadpool who opens the doors on every cage, turning the Museum into the greatest intergalactic disaster this timeline has ever seen. Marvel Rivals Season 6: Night at the Museum arrives January 16th.

Lords of the Fallen II
The dark fantasy action-RPG returns with brutal, soulslike combat in a world splitting at its core. Battle against the darkness in an epic adventure across a shattered kingdom. The title releases in 2026.

Forest 3
The third title in “The Forest” game franchise shifts the survival horror tale to an alien world filled with mysterious lifeforms. The new title is currently in development at Endnight Games.
