With tickets now on sale, Disney has premiered a new featurette for James Cameron’s “Avatar: Fire and Ash” ahead of the film’s opening in cinemas on December 19th.
Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family.
The third entry in the series introduces two new Na’vi tribes: The peaceful merchant-like Wind Traders who traverse the world in dirigible-esque skyships, and the warlike Fire People who ride on flying beasts.
The events in this follow in the wake of “Avatar: The Way of Water” with Jake and Neytiri still dealing with the loss of their son Neteyam.
The film stars Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri, Oona Chaplin as Carang, Sigourney Weaver as Kiri, Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch, Giovanni Ribisi as Parker Selfridge, Kate Winslet as Ronal, Cliff Curtis as Tonowari, Joel David Moore as Dr. Norm Spellman, and Edie Falco as General Frances Ardmore.
