Memoir of a Snail
Jacki Weaver, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Dominique Pinon, Magda Szubanski and Eric Bana will lend their voices to “Mary and Max” director Adam Elliot’s stop-motion drama “Memoir of a Snail”.

The poignant tale of a young lonely misfit in 1970’s Australia who hoards ornamental snails and is addicted to romance novels, is currently shooting in Melbourne with an expected release date in 2024.

When her family unit is ripped apart, she finds herself in a spiral of anxiety and depression until she strikes up an enduring friendship with an elderly eccentric woman called Pinky.

Kerry Condon (“The Banshees of Inisherin”) has been cast alongside Brad Pitt in Joseph Kosinski’s much talked about big-budget F1 film. Pitt stars as a racer who comes out of retirement to mentor a younger driver. Jerry Bruckheimer produces the film which also stars Damson Idris

Shell
Elisabeth Moss, Kate Hudson and Kaia Gerber will star in Max Minghella’s psychological thriller “Shell”. Jack Stanley’s script is set in a near future when humanity’s cultural obsession with youth and beauty has been taken to new extremes.

Moss plays a struggling actress given an opportunity to get a free trial at Shell, a pioneering health and beauty company which promises to keep its clients looking young forever. Her life is transformed by the treatment, but when a string of former Shell patients go missing she starts to fear she is in danger.

The Invite
Amy Adams, Paul Rudd and Tessa Thompson will star in “Little Miss Sunshine” directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris’ new comedy “The Invite” for FilmNation Entertainment and Permut Presentations. Rashida Jones and Will McCormack penned the script.

A remake of the Goya-winning 2020 Spanish comedy “Sentimental,” it follows a couple whose 15-year marriage is in a rut. They soon engage with their boisterous neighbors whom they learn host weekly orgies and have an invite of their own to offer.

One For The Money
Carey Mulligan, Tom Basden and Tim Key will all star in comedy “One For The Money”. The story follows an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island who hires his favourite musician to play an exclusive private gig.

Unbeknownst to him, the musician has hired the lotto winner’s ex-girlfriend and her new husband to help out. Tempers flare and a storm soon traps them all on the island.

Speak No Evil
Scoot McNairy has joined psychological horror thriller “Speak No Evil” at Blumhouse and Universal. Filming is underway in Europe.

The story revolves around a family invited for a weekend at an idyllic country house -– a dream holiday that warps into a snarled psychological nightmare. James McAvoy and Mackenzie Davis co-star.

The Order
Tye Sheridan will join Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult in Justin Kurzel’s crime thriller “The Order” at AGC Studios. Filming kicks off in Alberta, Canada next week.

The story chronicles the escalating crimes of the titular white supremacist domestic terror groups in 1983 as a series of increasingly violent bank robberies and counterfeiting operations frightened communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Andorra
Bobby Cannavale, Elizabeth Debicki and Ruth Wilson are teaming up for the romantic thriller “Andorra” with James Ivory set to executive produce. Giuseppe Capotondi will direct from a script by Peter Cameron adapted from his own acclaimed novel of the same name.

Cannavale plays an American who begins an idyllic new life in the in the tiny European country after a personal tragedy. As he becomes entangled in the lives of the mysterious locals, the mystery of his origin deepens. When bodies emerge in the harbour, he finds himself in a spiralling crisis of conscience.

Everything’s Going to Be Great
Simon Rex and Chris Cooper will join Bryan Cranston, Allison Janney, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Jack Champion in Jon S. Baird’s “Everything’s Going To Be Great”. No character details have been disclosed.

Steven Rogers penned the film currently shooting in the Toronto area and billed as a valentine to big dreamers. It follows a family who moves from one state to the next, coping with loss and struggle with identity, all while performing in regional theater.

The Last Bachelor
Seann William Scott has signed on to star in Luke Greenfield’s new rom-com “The Last Bachelor”. Scott plays an eternal bachelor who, after realizing all his friends have settled down and gotten married, goes from never wanting to get married to becoming obsessed with finding a wife and family ASAP. He falls in love with a stunning, younger woman who isn’t ready to settle down.

Bad Boys 4
Tasha Smith (“Empire”) will replace Theresa Randle in the role of Theresa Burnett, wife of Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) in the fourth installment in the “Bad Boys” franchise which is currently in production. Lawrence and Will Smith return for the fourth film with plot details under wraps.

Motor City
“Reacher” star Alan Ritchson has been set as the lead in Timur Bekmambetov’s action thriller “Motor City”. Cliff Roberts and Chad St. John will script and Greg Silverman and Jon Berg will produce.

Ritchson will play John Miller, a Detroit-set man released from prison, who unleashes a rampage of brutal vengeance on those who framed him.

Guns of Christmas Past
Liev Schrieber is in negotiations to take on the lead role in filmmaker Xavier Gens’ new action-thriller “The Guns Of Christmas Past”. Filming will begin later this year.

Dubbed “A Christmas Carol meets John Wick,” Andrew Hilton’s script follows Ebb – a former hitman for the mob brought out from hiding when his former best friend and partner is killed. Ebb penetrates the compound of his enemy to exact revenge but the ghosts of past, present and future all arrive to thwart his plans.
