The Better Liar
Former “Star Wars” star Daisy Ridley has joined Amazon’s upcoming thriller series “The Better Liar,” based on the Tanen Jones novel and led by Raelle Tucker (“True Blood”).

The story follows a woman who hires a lookalike to conceal her sister’s death and claim their shared inheritance, leading to a dangerous web of deception. Ridley will executive produce with series with Tucker. [Source: Deadline]

Bass Reeves

Demi Singleton (“King Richard”) has joined the regular cast of the “Yellowstone” period spin-off series “Bass Reeves” at the Paramount+ service. David Oyelowo, Barry Pepper, Dennis Quaid, Forrest Goodluck, Lauren E. Banks, and Grantham Coleman also star.

The story brings the legendary lawman of the wild west to life. Reeves worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 dangerous criminals without ever being wounded. Filming is underway in Texas. [Source: Variety]

The Last of Us
Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann sit down to talk “The Last of Us” game and series for the first episode of “Creators on Creators,” a web series for Sony. The clip also includes some very brief footage from the upcoming eighth episode airing on Sunday.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Amazon Prime has released the first official teaser trailer for the fifth and final season of the award-winning comedy “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. The final run commences on April 14th with the first three episodes dropping on that date.

In the new season Midge Maisel is ready to fight for her ascent to stardom – equipped with her quick wit and sharp tongue, and nothing else to lose. She finds herself closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away.

Riverdale

The CW has premiered the official seventh season trailer for its increasingly weird long-running teen drama “Riverdale” – this season the gang are back in the 1950s as Jughead tries to convince the gang they’re all from the future and need to get back to their timeline. The final season premieres on March 29th.
